8.1 - Matrices and Systems of Equations

A matrix is a retangular array of numbers enclosed in brackets.

Order is the same as dimension. You find the order by Rows x Columns.

Augmented Matrices is a matrix derived from a system of equations, contains coefficients and constants.

Solve this system using a augmented matrix.

This system of equations makes the augmented matrix formed next to it.

Reduced Row Echelon Form (rref( on the calculator) solves the augmented matrix.

Process of getter rref is called Gauss-Jordan elminination.
